Shryne Group Serves Up Joy for Thanksgiving

Both Shryne Group, as well as our flagship brand STIIIZY, were determined to make sure communities across California were able to enjoy the holiday.

In Indio, CA our brand Authentic, operating our of our Authentic 760 retail location in Palm Desert partnered with our friends at Martha’s Village & Kitchen to help sponsor Thanksgiving Dinner for well over 1000 residents at their main campus. Our team helped assist volunteers on Thanksgiving Day to serve families in need of a delicious hot meal. During these uncertain times it’s more important than ever to make sure that our neighbors in need are able to enjoy this special time of year. Martha’s Village & Kitchen is one of the largest providers of homeless services in the Coachella Valley & Riverside County with over 8,000 people in need passing through its doors annually.

In addition to serving the residents & families experiencing homelessness in Indio, we set out to support those in need here in our own backyard of Los Angeles county by supporting Operation Gobble in the city of Hawthorne. Operation Gobble was a project undertaken by City of Hawthorne Councilwoman Angie Reyes English with support of various organizations, groups and businesses that Shryne Group was honor to be amongst. We provided 100 turkeys to the operation, and the donations were directed to churches, nonprofits organizations, underserved children and families in the community.

Shryne Group’s flagship brand STIIIZY also served the community on this cherished holiday, by joining efforts underway with our friends at Trina’s Kids foundation. At their annual Thanksgiving Food drive at Hubble Studio we provided 50 turkeys and helped distribute Thanksgiving goods to low-income families that live in the Arts District and surrounding area in LA.

More than 200 families and individuals were in attendance for the yearly distribution of essential food items, useful amenities and a freshly prepared Thanksgiving meal as soon as they walked out from receiving their items. On top of the 50 turkeys donated by STIIIZY, Joint Efforts volunteers came to the event to help the process of distributing as well as any other needs that came up.

Those who attended the event were able to receive various items. From frozen turkeys, hams and canned goods, to fresh produce and kitchen supplies that may be needed to help prep their Thanksgiving meals.
