The Gift of Giving, Our 2021 Holiday Season Wrap-Up

How Shryne Group and STIIIZY Made the Holiday Season Special for Communities Across California

Shryne Group spread positivity throughout communities in Southern and Northern California to conclude the 2021 giving season. 

Shryne Group distributed thousands of toys across California this holiday season. From hosting toy drives out of our retail locations in the Bay Area, to procuring and donating toys to community toy drives across the state, Shryne Group made an impact throughout the
state from Barstow to Redwood City. Shryne Group supported city-wide holiday toy drives in both the city of Hawthorne and Pomona with a delivery of over 250 toys. In addition to city offices hosting drives, public service organizations like the Barstow Police Dept helped distribute toys as well, and we donated toys to their cause this year. Toys were also provided to the American Legion to support families of veterans, as well as other community organizations like Turning Point Foundation in Ventura and Settlement House in Corona.

STIIIZY teamed up with a variety of organizations and agents of change such as our long-term friends at the Trina’s Kids Foundation for their “Fill The Field” toy drive takeover in partnership with the Chargers. On December 14, 2021, our team joined Trina’s Kids and other sponsors to help fill the entire SoFi Stadium Field with over 15,000 toys to distribute to local kids in need for the 2021 holiday season at their 8th annual Gift Giving event at Hubble Studios.

STIIIZY supported this by dropping off 100+ toys, and STIIIZY Joint Efforts volunteers helped decorate and prep the field for the main event: letting kids run down from the bleachers to grab as many toys as they could hold! The event was filmed in partnership with the Chargers and aired on December 23, 2021 right before Christmas.

Additionally, several of our STIIIZY retail locations hosted Holiday Toy Drives with various organizations such as Toys for Tots at the STIIIZY DTLA retail location; our Bay Area retail locations collected toys to benefit The City Eats in San Francisco and the surrounding area. We’re grateful for our loyal customers who donated new toys, stuffed animals, books, and more to benefit children in need this holiday season. All proceeds from each location went to benefit children within the local community.

We also recognize that as temperatures drop across California during the holiday season, it also becomes a dangerous time for our unhoused neighbors and families experiencing homelessness across California. With this in mind, Shryne Group donated winter gear such as wool socks, thermal undergarments, sleeping bags, scarves, gloves, and toiletries to community organizations in Redwood City, Ventura, National City, and here in Los Angeles.
